As Memorial Day fast approaches, we can’t help but flip through our calendars for the next three months to see what events are in store. The most common event this time of year? Summer weddings.  With so many nuptials taking place over the sunny, warm months of summer, modest women are in need of new frocks to dance the night away in. 

There are a whole slew of requirements and requests for modest summer wedding guest dresses: the most common of which is price.  It can be burdensome to invest in higher end modest evening wear especially if you find yourself attending weddings frequently. 

Our personal philosophy at The Reflective is to invest in one nice, classic modest evening dress (Ameera or Sachin + Babi are great brands to turn to) and supplement with rented dresses or more attainable options as you find yourself needing a fresh new frock.

Summer modest evening wear, in particular, is an area we find ourselves wanting attainable options for. Many women want to wear lighter pastel evening dresses or fun, colorful frocks – unless you see yourself wearing a seafoam green maxi dress or lilac silk gown for years to come, we don’t recommend investing in those evening dresses.
